Zhala Aliyeva | Azerbaijan

Zhala Aliyeva studied Ceramics at the Azim Azimzadeh State College of Art and later specialized in Sculpture at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts (ADRA). Since 2021, she has been serving as a lecturer at the Department of Sculpture at ADRA, and since 2022, she has been a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan.

Within the framework of the "Baku Steel Art 2024" metal symposium, Zhala Aliyeva created the sculpture "Let Us Awaken the Sun." The work calls for a restoration of the forgotten harmony between humanity and nature: “The sun is the source of life and energy. It gives strength to every living being and continually renews nature. This piece is a call for humans to live in harmony with nature. Our cities should become an integral part of the natural world, and buildings should rise under the shelter of trees. Only through such balance can we leave a green, sustainable, and healthy planet to future generations.”
