Monument of the Lost Drop
Klaus F. Hunsicker | Germany
Klaus F. Hunsicker was born in 1970 in Kaiserslautern, then part of the Federal Republic of Germany. Between 1997 and 2025, he participated in more than 50 international symposiums and exhibitions in more than 20 countries around the world. Since 1999, he has owned a personal workshop in Niedermohr, Germany.
At the symposium, Klaus F. Hunsicker presented “The Monument of the Lost Drop.” “This monument depicts the delicate balance between steel and water, strength and subtlety, endurance and flow. The droplet-shaped void in its center evokes a sense of scarcity and loss. Its elliptical, droplet-like lines and elements convey the essence and motion of water. ‘The Monument of the Lost Drop’ reminds us not of what we possess, but of what we are in danger of losing — it calls for awareness, reflection, and care for the planet’s most precious resource.”
