Kamen Tanev | Bulgaria

Kamen Tanev studied Sculpture at the National Academy of Art in Sofia, Bulgaria, where he currently lectures. Since 2022, he has been a faculty member at the same academy. He has been a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists, affiliated with UNESCO’s International Association of Art, since 2003. He has participated in many exhibitions and conferences worldwide, receiving laurels in various competitions. His works are displayed in public spaces and permanent collections worldwide.

For the “Baku Steel Art 2024” symposium, Tanev created Windoors: "This project embodies the idea of multiple open spaces. Viewers are invited to mentally navigate through differently sized openings, creating fragmented yet interconnected perspectives that together form a multitude of images."
